Cross Timbers ENT opened a new location in Midlothian late 2022. Prior to this, I had been visiting their location in Mansfield. Since I reside in the Midlothian area, the convenience is great, however, the greatest attribute of the Midlothian location is the care and attention you are welcomed with when you enter the reception area where you are "happily and sincerely" greeted by Kristina Dakof and/or Kayla Burnett. These two ladies, without hesitation, will and do entertain all of your questions, assist with your scheduling needs and do their absolute best to ensure your experience with Cross Timbers Midlothian is the very best it can be. Having Kristina and Kayla as the first and last contacts the customer interacts with is a win/win for the customer and Midlothian Cross Timbers. They are two exceptionally talented associates whom Cross Timbers is fortunate to have in its employment!!! More

I have experienced many ENT Doctors and office staff, this office staff and Doctors are hands down the best! They listen to patients needs and give true honest answers and care. Our normal Doctor did not have an appointment open, so we scheduled with the PA Tyler Shaw. He was great! He he gave the same level of care the Doctor would have. Excellent job!! More

We searched for a place where my son could see what was going on with his allergies and what to do next. From the beginning they have all been awesome. They keep it real and make you feel at home and comfortable. We were able to see what he was allergic to and he's on a program to help get his allergies under control. Could not be more happy. You won't be disappointed. More

I appreciate Cross Timbers ENT working me in as a new patient. Dr Wu explained the reasons for my ear infection. He gave me his full attention and time. He also drained my ear. I was able to actually hear for the first time in a week. It was a really good experience for me to be his patient. More

My name is Maureen Bastian, I cannot praise Dr. Wu enough. I have suffered for years with sinus headaches, swelling, pain and no one has ever really given me an answer except I’m gonna keep testing see what you’re allergic to here take some pills. I was told I had a deviated septum and that was it. When I met Dr. Wu he was like why haven’t you taken care of this deviated septum, I told him I had no idea I was supposed to. I now can breathe, my sinuses Are not swelling. Usually on cloudy days with the barometric pressure I suffer. I have not had that experience since my surgery. Dr. Wu thank you so much for giving me the relief that I have suffered with for over 40+ years, I highly highly recommend him & his staff, Also the staff is absolutely wonderful at all his locations. The Best Doctor!!! Dr.Wu saved my life in 2019 he informed me that I had a CFS leak fom my brain which other doctors had said I just had a runny nose and sinus issues. Dr. Wu put me on bed rest until I could have surgery to repair the leak and he said if I ever get a headache like never before Run to the hospital not walk. I was referred to UT Southwest to Dr. Ryan. I got a headache one day a headache like never before in the top of my head and I thought about what Dr. Wu said I headed to UT Southwest and made it just in time. I had contracted bacterial meningitis in my brain. Thank you Dr. Wu for being a Great Doctor I will forever be grateful. Thanks for cleaning my sinuses out last week with no pain afterwards the best!!!!! More

I’ve been coming here since I needed my tonsils removed in 2020. From start to finish Dr. Cho and her staff were top notch and listened 100% of the time. I now am being seen for allergies and had a skin test to see what bothers my allergies. Once they found that out I come in for immunotherapy regularly and will continue to do so for a few years to hopefully breath better in the long run! Everyone has always been pleasant each time I’ve had an encounter and timely in their responses! Plus I love the reminder system, helps a busy body like me stay accountable. More

Dr. Leffingwell was amazing. I usually try to fix myself holisticly, but after trying hydrogen peroxide and oils for my left ear being clogged nothing worked. My ear was clogged for 3 weeks and I finally decided to go to Cross Timbers. Dr. Leffingwell cleaned both my ears out and I can clearly hear. All glory to God for guiding me to this place. After almost 3 years of my son being on allergy medication I decided to search for a Specialist and found Cross Timbers ENT. Dr. Cho is the doctor to has help my son and was able to figure out immediately that my son has zero allergies and the thing that has been causing all those allergy type symptoms are his adenoids. We agreed go having surgery, Marsha has been assisting us with the surgery process, scheduling and finances which was done in more then a timely manner, its only been one month since we visit Dr. Cho and we are already on our way to surgery next week. Everyone in the office has made my son feel safe and comfortable. Great Doctors, Awesome staff and definitely recommend this facility!!!! More

Cross Timbers has been the best specialist office that I have been able to find for my mom in a long time. I took her to see Dr. Wu and Dr. Margo since she has been having problems hearing and from the time we came into the office our experience was excellent. The receptionist Mikenzy was very sweet and helpful. She warmly greeted us as soon as we came in and didn’t mind helping mom with paperwork. Dr. Wu and his nurse listened to our concerns and helped us figure out what we needed to do moving forward with hearing aids. Dr. Margo was very nice as well when we saw her for the actual hearing aids appointment. My mom can hear fairly well thanks to all of their help. I will recommend this place to all of our family, friends and neighbors. More

I originally started with Cross Timbers for my husband’s tonsils and allergies. Then again for my daughters tongue tie. All of these were done with Dr. Luke Shellenberger he’s absolutely PHENOMENAL! (at the Mansfield office.) In talking with the staff I found out they have a 🗣 MEDSPA at the midlothian office! The ball has not been dropped on ANY level with this practice. At the Midlothian office the receptionist Angela is on her A game ALWAYS! Dr. L is a hoot and a fantastic dr! I went in there originally for Botox. I had Becky and Rebecca in there assisting him (both nurses and fun personalities) which was VERY nice and comforting. Most medspas do NOT have nurses, some places they’re not even MA’s which is ridiculous. After Botox I started doing other things to help with my face because I didn’t want fillers, so they gave me some other options. His Medspa “guru” (as I like to call her) is nurse Rebecca. She is so informative through the whole process and aftercare. EXCELLENT bedside manner. So far I’ve done Opus (which is plasma), Clearlift, and Harmony. I haven’t been disappointed with any of these results. Below is a (creepy) picture of me with my very first treatment results. I’m making the face so you can see where the Botox worked SO well on my forehead. We are working on wrinkles, lightening my freckles/age spots, and tightening. I can’t wait to see what the end results are! We have currently started working on my HORRIBLE scars on my arms from getting Brachioplasty. They also run specials every month which I’ve taken full advantage of!! :) The only thing I wish was different would be a separate entrance for MedSpa only but, to my knowledge this part of the practice is still growing so hopefully I’ll see it in the future! If your daily routine involves multiple sneezing fits, itchy, watery eyes, blowing your nose everyday or even once a day, coughing, runny nose, and or it feels like your ears are stopped up, please give Cross Timbers ENT a call and ask for allergy testing. Jennifer has been great and I see a huge improvement in my symptoms plus I’ve had less Asthma exacerbations because my allergies are becoming a thing of the past. I am no longer allergic to a whole list of things. Before taking the shots I could not dust or be around any dust because I was so allergic to dust mites and they caused the Asthma to flare up and I would be on steroids for 10 plus days, have to get a steroid shot in addition to the 10 days, have to do breathing treatments around the clock, and I would have to spend money not only for meds but to see a dr, go to an urgent care, or visit an ER. This last year I began taking allergy shots regularly and I can dust without exacerbating Asthma and the best part is the fear from allergy flares causing me to not be able to breathe is completely gone. That fear of flare ups effecting my breathing is a thing of the past. Allergy shots work and you can have them give you all of your shots or you can be taught to do them yourself. So the symptoms of allergies no longer bother me like they use to. I have more shots to take but the test and my lack of symptoms prove the shots do work. I am now only allergic to one thing and less allergic today vs one year ago. So please give yourself a gift that lasts a lifetime and get tested for Allergies and if your positive consider taking the shots. They work and it’s so nice to live and breathe easier and not have the fear of being breathless due to allergies. I took control over allergies and won. More

This office has really helped me with my sinuses from this past year. My sinuses started as acute, but took a bad turn to chronic and I suffered for almost a year dealing with extremely bad sinus headaches and pressure to my head. I visited another popular ENT office in Dallas, but they were not as empathetic as Cross Timbers ENT and it seemed as if they wanted to rush a traditional surgery on me because I have a slight deviated septum. After consultation with Dr. Allis Cho, she was very empathetic and provided options that would help my sinuses. She performed "Balloon Sinusplasty" and it has improved my sinuses tremendously. I am sleeping better now and I don't have the terrible headaches that I use to have. I am almost fully recovered from the surgery and the improvement of my sinuses are already showing. I am SO grateful for the staff and Dr. Cho at Cross Timbers ENT and plan to make her my primary ENT doctor from now on. :) More

Anyway, I created a contraption to keep my nasal passage opened. It backfired one morning, and the contraption was lost inside of my nasal cavity!! I didn’t panic. I thought to myself “what’s my best course of action? I could go to ER. Naw. Oh I could go to an ENT.” So I did. I looked for local ENT’s. Saw that Dr. Shellenberger at Cross Timber’s had some praise worthy reviews so took a chance. Note that I don’t like going to the doctor. For no real reason. I just find it tedious. Sometimes, it’s difficult to get the dr. to address the issue without having to first go to a million appointments before there’s a resolve. And I know that’s MY issue. But I went. I arrived without having called ahead, and let them know what happened. Miss Mariah took me back to access the problem. She said they would work me in. And it was clear that they worked me in. The office was full, and people coming in and out! I didn’t wait terribly long. But I did wait, and rightfully so, as they had people who had appointments AND I wasn’t in danger. So, yes, I waited, but all things considered. It wasn’t a long wait AND the office was clean, the staff friendly, so a very pleasant stay I had until they called me up. There’s not much of a story about what happened after Dr. Shellenberger took a look for himself. We laughed. I offered to be his poster child of “what not to do”. And he removed the contraption. If you wonder what it was that he removed, well you’ll have to make him your ENT, and ask him for yourself!!!! More

I used to work with Dr. Wu in the hospital setting and his bedside manner and kindness is what drove me to ask for a referral to see him when my primary doctor was looking for an ENT for me to see. His office is beautiful and clean. The staff were all incredibly helpful, kind, and pleasant to interact with. My wait was less than 20 minutes from door to actually seeing Dr. Wu. I wound up getting a scope of my nose and throat in the office the same day. He made sure I was numb and the entire thing went smoothly and wasn’t nearly as terrible as I had expected. Dr. Wu took the time to really explain everything to me and discuss my future treatment options. I felt like I was the only patient of the day and not rushed in the slightest. I cannot recommend him and this office more. Thank you so very much Dr. Wu and team. Will be recommending your office to anyone in need. :) More

I wish more doctors were nice, easy to talk to, pleasant, laid back, easy going, extremely knowledgeable, patient and down right friendly, like Dr. James Leffingwell. We all know a lot of doctors get you in and rush you out without answering all your questions. I did not feel that way at all with Dr. Leffingwell. He took the time to explain what was going on with my daughter's ear problem and was able to resolve the issue. He listened to my questions and provided the feedback and answers I needed.
